Your playing stays on your phone.

Insonified Tuner is a free tuner and metronome from Insonified, built by Swamp Kitten. It has no accounts, no ads, no analytics and no tracking.

Microphone

The tuner listens through your microphone only while the tuner is on. The sound is analyzed on your device, a few times a second, to find the note. Audio is never recorded, saved or sent anywhere. When you switch to the metronome, lock your phone or leave the app, the microphone turns off.

What is saved

Your last tuning, reference pitch (A4), tempo and beats per bar are saved on your device so the app opens the way you left it. They never leave your device. Deleting the app (or clearing your browser's site data) removes them.

What we collect

Nothing. The iPhone app sends no data to us or anyone else. The website, tuner.insonified.com, is delivered by Cloudflare, which handles standard connection data such as your IP address to serve the page. We don't use that data to identify you, and we don't add cookies or trackers.

Children

The app collects no personal information from anyone, including children.

Changes

If this policy changes, the new version will be posted here with a new date.
